- With feet on ground and knees bent, place shoulders on bench so arms can move freely behind head.
- Grasp under top of dumbbell with both hands.
- Extend arms behind head with arms straight.
- Keeping arms straight, slowly pull dumbbell to position in which dumbbell is over face to complete one repetition.
