Think About it!
Eating when you aren't thinking about eating, "unconscious eating," is dangerous to weight loss programs. Instead of eating on the run, or while watching tv or reading, focus specific time on eating a meal. Focus not only on the meal, but on stopping eating before you feel full. Your body takes 15 minutes to register that you are full. If you are eating until you are full, you will keep feeling more and more full for the next 15 minutes.
Savor your foods and appreciate each bite. Chew carefully and slowly and don't overeat. Once you get into this habit, you will find that weight loss becomes easier.
