Sneaking Veggies into Your Diet, Part 2
If you're trying to include more vegetables in your diet, here are a few ways to sneak them into other foods you are preparing:
- BAKED GOODS: Grate raw veggies -- such as carrots, sweet potatoes, zucchini -- into batter for muffins, breads and even cookies.
- SOUPS: Instead of using milk to thicken soups, use pureed vegetables.
- GROUND MEAT DISHES: Grate raw carrot into ground beef (or ground turkey) when making burgers, meatballs or meatloaf.
