Drinking water is a great way to curb your appetite. Many times we think we're hungry, when in fact we're just dehydrated. If you're among the many people who "don't like water," getting into the habit of drinking more could be easier than you think.

Here's the strategy: commit to drinking a lot of water for one week. Just one week of your life, plan to drink at least eight glasses a day. Or, try to drink 1-2 liters of bottled water. Once you get over that initial hump, you may well find that your body actually CRAVES water. And that's a craving you won't mind giving into.
