Jumping Rope for Faster Footwork in Racquet Sports
Jumping rope is excellent training for racquetball and squash. These sports involve a lot of standing and moving on the balls of your feet, as does jumping rope.
If you're not yet in condition, start slowly and gradually increase the speed and duration of your jump-rope sessions. In addition to jumping with both feet, try jumping on one foot at a time, alternating between each foot for counts of 10.
