Raising Calves...Kind of
Eager to get your calves in shape for shorts season? One of the best toning exercises is also one of the easiest: calf raises.
- Simply stand up on your toes slowly and then lower yourself slowly.
- Repeat 8 to 12 times.
- If you need help keeping your balance, place your hand lightly (don't lean) on a chair back or equipment frame for support.
